David L. Hudson Jr.

I’m a sports fan, author, teacher and attorney based in the Middle Tennessee area. I have great interest in the courts — the U.S. Supreme Court and the basketball court. I serve as First Amendment scholar for the First Amendment Center, teach classes at Vanderbilt University Law School, the Nashville School of Law and Middle Tennessee State University and write books.

Primarily I write about the law, the Supreme Court, basketball, boxing and mixed martial arts. Some of my books include The Handy Supreme Court Answer Book (Visible Ink Press, 2007), Basketball Championships Most Wanted: The Top 10 Book of March Mayhem, Playoff Performances and Other Tournament Oddities (Potomac Books, 2007), The Rehnquist Court Understanding Its Impact and Legacy (Praeger, 2006), Boxing’s Most Wanted: The Top 10 Book of Champs, Chumps and Punch-Drunk Palookas (Potomac Books, 2004) (co-authored with Mike Fitzgerald) and The Bill of Rights: The First Ten Amendments to the U.S. Constitution (Enslow, 2002).

Thanks very much for visiting my website.
